How to Install Your Signature

Follow these step-by-step instructions to add your new signature to Apple Mail on macOS or iOS.

macOS Mail

Ventura, Sonoma, Sequoia

1

Copy your signature

In the SignatureCraft editor, click the "Copy Signature" button. This copies your signature with all formatting and images.

2

Open Mail Settings

Open Mail app → Menu bar → Mail → Settings (or press ⌘ ,)

Click the "Signatures" tab.

3

Create a new signature

Select your email account on the left, then click the + button below the middle column to create a new signature.

4

Paste your signature

Click in the signature editing area on the right and press ⌘ V to paste.

Important: Make sure "Always match my default message font" is unchecked at the bottom of the settings panel, or your formatting may be lost.

5

Set as default (optional)

Use the "Choose Signature" dropdown below your email account to set this signature as the default for new messages and replies.

You're all set!

Close Settings and compose a new email to see your signature in action.

iOS Mail

iPhone & iPad (iOS 16, 17, 18)

1

Scan the QR code

In the SignatureCraft editor on your computer, scan the QR code with your iPhone/iPad camera. This opens the editor page on your mobile device.

2

Copy the signature

On your mobile device, tap the "Copy Signature" button.

3

Open Settings

Go to Settings → Apps → Mail → Signature

(On iOS 16 and earlier: Settings → Mail → Signature)

4

Paste your signature

Tap in the signature text field, select all existing text (if any), then tap Paste.

Note: iOS Mail has more limited HTML support than macOS. Complex designs may appear simplified. The Minimal template works best on iOS.

Done!

Open Mail and compose a new email to verify your signature.

Troubleshooting

Images not loading?

Make sure you're using publicly accessible image URLs (not local files). Images hosted on Cloudinary, Imgur, or your own CDN work best. Some email clients block images by default - recipients may need to click "Load images" to see them.

Formatting looks wrong?

On macOS, ensure "Always match my default message font" is unchecked in Mail settings. On iOS, simpler templates like Minimal work best due to limited HTML support.

Can't paste the signature?

Try using the keyboard shortcut (⌘V on Mac) instead of right-click paste. Some browsers or security settings may prevent clipboard access - try a different browser.
